I don’t know about you, but I have found myself thinking more and more about the promise of eternity. A place in paradise with my creator, my God, and my Savior. A place where there is no sickness, no injustice, no heartache, no pain, no evil. A place of perfect peace. That is the promise that God has given us for those who give up their fleshly desires to pursue the desires of the Spirit. This promise was only given because of the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for us. He gave up everything so that we could gain eternal life. Jesus became needy so that we can be satisfied. Jesus became weak so that we can be made strong. Jesus was ultimately rejected so that we may be accepted. Thank you God for the ultimate sacrifice of your son Jesus that grants us eternal life! Help us to die to ourselves so that You May be glorified!
