“Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.”
Psalm 95:2
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His gratefulness continues through all generations.”
Psalm 100:4

Sometimes I don’t know how to pray or for what I should pray. It is in those moments that I can always give God thanks for the many blessings I have so I am never without an opportunity to pray. That kind of prayer is something I can do all day long as I reflect on His goodness, mercy and grace. Whenever I find myself complaining, I am reminded by the Holy Spirit that complaining is an exponential problem. Just as I always have good things to thank the Lord for, there are many things that I can complain about if I want to go down that road. It is my earnest prayer that He will always remind me how unfruitful complaining is and bring me back to being grateful.
