Nowadays, you don’t even have to walk out of your door to be bombarded with messages. Messages about the latest gadget, latest trend, or latest drama vying for our attention. So much of it is here one day, then gone the next. I don’t know about you, but it’s honestly exhausting to keep up with at times. Yet I’m becoming more and more grateful that amid the noise, God graciously gives us glimpses of His power that spans the test of time. Glimpses of His power at work in our lives happening all around us; whether I remember or even look for his glimpses is a different story.
Still, I think about Hebrews 11 and the long list of God’s faithfulness through generation upon generation. They continued to tell others of the great work God had done to strengthen their faith and reliance on the true message of hope. Lord, please help me slow down to see Your many workings in my life and the courage to share them with those You place around me.
