“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
2 Corinthians 5:14-15

Jesus wants us to reconcile with Him. One of the enemy’s prominent tactics is division and hopelessness. He likes to drive a wedge between anything and everything…man and the church, husbands and wives, parents and children. His main goal is to create discord and chaos so that he can destroy us and distract us from the one that can restore us.

When we are reconciled with God through the gift of salvation, we are given the ministry of reconciliation. Meaning we become ambassadors of God’s truth. It’s His love that compels us to speak the message of hope to those around us.

God, show us the people in our life that need to be reconciled with you. Show us how to pray for them, how to love on them, how to care for them and come alongside them. We ask that you move mountains and restore those who are broken. Use us in a mighty way, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
