There is a lot to digest here. In fact, I encourage you to read all of chapter 91 because it’s packed full of God’s love for us through one promise after another.
While all of His promises are all special to me, verse 15 stands out to me the most. “He will call on me, and I will answer him…” I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve called out to the name of the Lord and He has answered me. He heard my cry for help while standing next to a loved one in the emergency room. He heard my cry for help as I sat next to a family member who was at rock bottom and about to lose it all.
The list goes on and on, but the moment that stands out to me the most was a few years back when I had a deep-rooted issue in my heart that had not quite healed. I pleaded with God to show me the source of this wound because I was so sick of the sin it was producing. After begging and pleading with Him, He revealed His truth to me in a dream. When I woke up, His Spirit helped me make sense of the dream. Through that process, God revealed to me the source of my pain and brought full healing and restoration to that wound. This dream was special because I had only had a couple of others like it. I knew it was God showing up for me when I needed Him most. No matter what you are going through, I want to assure you that He hears you!
