“Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?”
Romans 2:4 (ESV)

How comforting is it to know that we serve a kind God? His kindness to us is perfect, giving us hope on the worst of days and deepest of struggles. If I’m being honest, there are times that I don’t necessarily “feel” God’s kindness. I know that it’s there and I know that He loves me and has a plan for me, but I don’t necessarily feel that in every moment. In those times I’m reminded of my own depravity and the fact that I can even express that emotion and know that He hears me is more grace than I even deserve. May today we be reminded that in the good and the bad God’s grace and kindness is there. May that truth lead us to repentance deepening our relationship with our savior.
