Of all the ways that God could have designed humans, He designed us to be an image bearer of Him. To be of likeness of God. A few verses later in Genesis, God even says “and it was very good!”. Often times as life adds scars, wounds, and fears, we lose sight of our original intent of design of ourselves AND others. As we go about today, may we take time to pause, reflect, and remember that God made each of us in His own image. An image worthy of respect, worthy of placing value in, worthy of calling out the best in.
