While holidays can be a happy time to be together and celebrate all the blessings God has given us, they can also be times filled with disappointment and difficulty. As we end this Thanksgiving week, I’m reminded that our God is with us and for us in all things. I love the simple truth in the verse above. Why should we let God into the messy, dark, or confusing things in our lives? It’s simple — because he cares for us! What an amazingly undeserving care God has for us. So no matter what this holiday held for each of us, let’s continue living out of an abundance of peace as we continue forward in the hope that God gives us.
