Paul is speaking here about his position as an apostle and minister of the gospel. A beautiful take away for us all as servants of Christ is the absolute privilege it is to share the Good News of Jesus without expectation. This leads me to examine the attitude of my heart as I serve. Do I do so for the compensation of self-promotion or recognition of man? Or do I serve wholly for the glory of God? When I share Jesus with others through word or deed, I can entrust both the benefits and the outcome to the amazing work of the Holy Spirit. Let’s go!
