“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
James 1:2-4
I thank Jesus for His love for each of us. We count it all joy and trust God for our tomorrows with Him.

Praise GOD I was saved by HIS GRACE during my senior year of high school while attending a Bible Church with my family. I believe God began preparing me for a lifelong journey with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who I would need as my firm foundation of faith to cling to along the path of life I was destined to travel.

I was married for 12 years, and we were blessed with 4 beautiful gifts from the Lord: Chris, Scott, Michelle, and Lisa. As a family, we were always in church each Sunday being taught the Word of God in a Bible Church. I received a phone call from the children’s dad one afternoon, during our 12th year of marriage. He called to say, “I’m not coming home, and I don’t think I ever will.” Chris was 5 and a half, Scott was 4, Michelle was 2 and a half, and Lisa was 6 months old. My world was falling apart, but I was bound and determined to not let my children’s life fall apart. Through the years, we grew strong and close as a family, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. I clung to many Bible verses that gave me inner peace and I began writing poems of my journey with Jesus. I tell people that JESUS helped me raise my beautiful gifts from Him. The children grew up attending a private Christian school from grades K-12, where I taught for a number of years during my forty-year teaching career.

Jesus has been the anchor of my soul and the compass of my life. I give Him all the glory for allowing me to be Chris, Scott, Michelle, and Lisa’s mom. They each have beautiful families and have blessed me with 8 amazing grandchildren. I thank Jesus for His love for each of us. We count it all joy and trust God for our tomorrows with Him. Praise Jesus for giving my children, their spouses, and my grandchildren the gift of salvation! HALLELUJAH, what a Savior!
