“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
Romans 8:28

God created this earth as a heavenly place, and once that was tainted by Satan, “unheavenly” things started to exist: sickness, death, slander, manipulation, and the list goes on. It is undoubtedly so that each one of us has experienced a bad circumstance in our lifetime and some tend to ask, “Why is God doing this to me?”. Even I’m guilty of that! I never thought that anything “good” could come of my parent’s divorce after 27 years of marriage. It completely destroyed our family. God revealed to me through his word that my troubles would allow me to comfort others in their troubles (2 Cor 1). How relieving is it to talk to someone who has gone through what you have? It cannot hurt the kingdom to share your experiences, only build it. The reality is that what Satan is trying to use to destroy you is also the very thing that God will use to empower you and His kingdom.
