I love a good action-packed movie where everything goes wrong up until the last three seconds, and then justice is served.
Whether we are home or at the theater, I’m the one standing up, cheering and applauding with tears running down my face.
That’s because I love a good redemption story.
Today’s passage talks about the end times. Verse 28 says, “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” We don’t have to be waivered by the corruption and destruction of the world around us because we serve a redemptive God that has promised us the best rescue mission of all time, and you better believe that if I’m here to see it, I’ll be there standing tall with my head lifted high.
