I really enjoy observing nature. As I reflect on the trees, plants and creatures I reflect about how vast the universe is. I believe God created everything for His pleasure and when I find delight in the things that He enjoys, I experience His peace and joy.
He is in control of everything and maintains all that exists by keeping it in harmony with everything else. I am so grateful that He is teaching me that the most important thing I can do is simply abide in Christ.
I am nothing without Him. He supplies me with all of the energy I need to survive on this plane of existence. He has given me abundant life in Christ. When I get lethargic and complacent or angry and frustrated, all I have to do is meditate in His word and observe the beauty of His creation and the strength I need to revive my soul begins to flood my whole being.
Whatever task He gives me comes out of the overflow.
