I am grateful for the adversity God has allowed in my life. Without it, I would not have seen His mighty power displayed. Many times, when negative forces were working against me, I questioned what was happening as though it were something unusual.
Now, I realize that it is all a part of His plan to test me and strengthen my confidence in the Lord. Difficulties and complex problems keep me dependent on Him and they are some of the greatest teachers I have to educate me in God’s ways.
His admonition for me to stand still and watch Him work is always resisted by my ego because it wants to be in control.
I know that apart from Him, I can do nothing and abiding in Christ is always my most certain path to victory. I thank God for His faithfulness in teaching me to trust Him in every situation.
