“This is what the LORD says: ‘Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,’ declares the LORD.”
Jeremiah 9:23-24

I have the ability to remember and recall past events in my life and prioritize events in the future before I actually experience them. I can increase the value of time by scheduling important activities and then follow through with the plan.

But where I live is always in the present moment and it is there, and only there, that I am able to abide in Christ. The memories of the moments I have enjoyed with Him are wonderful and I am grateful for every one of them.

The primary objective I have for the future is to include Him in every event so that I can consciously be aware of His presence in everything that will happen in my life. The most significant points in time, between my birth and death, are all of the precious moments when I have been able to be mindful of Him, working in me to will and do of His good pleasure.

Even when I have not been sensitive to His presence, He has still been providing everything I have needed to exist. I am grateful for all that He has done, is doing and will do in my life. I pray that whether my future is filled with happiness or hardship, knowing Him more intimately will always be my greatest desire.
