“In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:21-22

One of the things I appreciate more and more is the body of Christ, His Church. In its simplest form, I am able to experience it every time I am with one or two other believers. The gathering of hundreds and even thousands of people in corporate worship is a wonderful experience, but nothing is more intimate than a small group of believers.

Individually our bodies are a temple of God, and we have all the resources we need for a life of godliness. His provision enables us to become a partaker of His divine nature. We have been crucified with Christ, and the new life we experience is really the Holy Spirit leading and guiding us one step at a time.

As we mature in the Lord and move from being spiritual infants to children and then on to adolescence and adulthood, we are ever-increasing in our understanding and spirituality.

As members of one body, we are to use our spiritual gifts to serve one another as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. Then, as we walk together in deeper unity, we discover more and more about who we are in Christ.
