Jesus, the Son of God, came from heaven and proclaimed through His life and teaching the message of peace that every creature in heaven has experienced throughout eternity. This was His Father’s plan, and it is executed by the Spirit of God. People and creatures who live in heaven all have one thing in common: they are living in absolute surrender to God the Father. There is no rebellion or resistance to the will of God.
Not so on earth. Here is where rebellion against God abounds, and every single member of the human race, including you and me, is guilty. We are all going astray, contributing to the chaos until that moment in time when, by faith, we believe the message of the gospel and trust God.
Now, God is seated on His throne; Jesus is seated on His throne. The Holy Spirit is actively executing their orders in perfect harmony with Abba’s plan and purpose. The big question for us is this: Are we living in harmony with Them, or do we have our own little kingdom filled with anxiety, fear, discord, and rebellion? We have access to God through the Holy Spirit, but we only encounter Him when we are living in harmony with His purpose and plan.
