These verses answer a question that we’ve probably all wondered about God’s grace: “Why?” Why has God lavished His love and grace on us? Why give such love to a people who don’t deserve it and aren’t capable of returning the favor? The answer I gather from these verses is that He has done it so that we’ll spend the rest of our lives and eternity marveling at His great love and kindness towards us! His love is so deep, His grace is so abundant, and His kindness so undeserved that it’ll take us all of eternity to try to fathom the “incomparable riches” of who He is!
What a story God is writing in us, a story where He is revealing more of who He is and where we get to spend eternity seeking Him out more and more, giving Him the praise He deserves. I hope this brings us all a new joy today! Let’s continue to go to him in awe of who He is and how much He has done for us — how far His love, grace, and kindness reach.
