“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.”
Ephesians 1:18-19

Sunday Pastor Jose talked about praying with hopeful confidence. When I think about Olympic athletes, hopeful confidence is something they seem to possess in abundance. Their hopeful confidence though grew over time with years of commitment and dedication to honing their skills. It gave them the drive to pursue their dreams.

Hopeful confidence in the Lord comes with knowing him and knowing him is a lifelong pursuit. As we seek and grow in him, we learn to trust him. He is for us. We can approach his throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16) at all times.

There is no one like our God. Is there something that you’ve been wrestling with alone or hesitant to talk to your Father about? He is full of mercy and compassion and waiting to hear from you.
