The Lord’s faithfulness, love, mercy and grace are the greatest treasures I have. He has made the way possible for me to be a part of His kingdom and be reconciled to the Father. The cross, while being difficult to comprehend sometimes, remains the greatest demonstration of His kindness, compassion and love. It is the only solution I have for the greatest enemy in my life. My ego does everything it can to avoid the cross and incessantly contrives ways and means by which it can rule my life. However, all I have to do in every situation is surrender and resign myself to have His will be done, no matter what the cost, and my ego is powerless. I am grateful that through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, I have been set free from the law of sin and death.
