“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD Himself, is the rock eternal.”
Isaiah 26:3-4
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7

One of the greatest blessings in my life is experiencing God’s peace. For many years it seemed to come and go and I could never understand why. I didn’t sense that I had any control over it. When I realized, one day, that His peace was always there for me it became the most powerful means in guiding me to follow Him and His ways. It is a benefit of abiding in Christ because righteousness, peace and joy are the reality of His culture. Now, when I find myself anxious, fearful or distressed about something that is happening I am able to simply be still and wait for His peace to manifest. When I am aware of His presence, I always experience His peace. Many times, while I am waiting and enjoying fellowship with Him, He gives me a thought that leads me to do or say something in the midst of the situation that brings peace to others as well as myself. I am so grateful that He is always there for me, regardless of my condition or circumstances.
