"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers…"
Psalm 1:1

In all my years of walking with the Lord, I can say with certainty that my life has been blessed. The primary blessings that have made every other blessing possible are the mercy and grace of God, which have come through faith in Jesus Christ. These blessings have come to me at many times and in various ways, but they all have one thing in common. They have brought me a tremendous amount of peace and joy.

Sometimes they come in tangible ways, and others come as the result of a promise I find in Scripture. It’s not always necessary to see the manifestation of the gift because as I trust God that His will be done, I realize that there may be a delay or even a denial. Nevertheless, they always offer me hope and enable me to maintain a positive expectancy of the future. Sometimes, however, I miss out on the blessing because I find myself complaining about my circumstances, and the resentment obscures my vision.

It is my prayer that I will be able to maintain an attitude of gratefulness for everything that happens in my life because, on numerous occasions, the blessing has been revealed after going through adverse circumstances.
