What has made the church so impactful has always been the relationships and bond of believers through the Holy Spirit. May this verse remind us of its importance to genuinely love one another as Christ has commanded. When the church adequately does this, the world takes notice. As believers, we are called to love and spur each other on, regardless of opinions or personal stances. The one thing that unifies us is the life-changing message of the gospel and the power of Christ through the cross. May today we be reminded that the world is to know who we follow by the love we have for one another.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
