“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Romans 12:2
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.”
Ephesians 1:17-19

There is an incredible number of benefits I have by trusting God in every situation. One of them that keeps recurring over and over again is that I don’t have to be right. No matter what is happening around me, I never have all of the essential facts upon which I can be certain. By denying my ego’s demand to be right I can avoid foolish and irrational arguments that lead to contention and strife. By not needing to conform to the collective ego of others nor my own ego’s conditioned way of viewing life, I can simply trust the Lord. The result is always the same, although the form may manifest in varying ways. I pray that God will continually transform the way I think so that I will be a better observer in every conversation.
