"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: 'The righteous will live by faith.'"
Romans 1:16-17
"Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."
Philippians 2:12-14

One of the greatest blessings of my life happened when I was completely helpless to save my family from being destroyed. My addictions to alcohol and gambling were ruining everything I held dear. I look back, with eternal gratefulness, at the way God sent someone into my life to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I embraced the cross and realized that the work for my deliverance was finished at Calvary, I was set free from my bondage and entered into the joyous experience of being reconciled to my Heavenly Father. Without Him working in me to will and do of His good pleasure, I am as powerless today as I was then. I trust God, in every situation, to accomplish His purpose and objective. I pray for His will to be done in my life as it is in heaven.
