"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law, day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers."
Psalm 1:1-3
"Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun."
Psalm 37:4-6

When I delight myself in the Lord, I am doing His will. I don’t believe there is anything I can do that is more meaningful than that. Most of the time finding pleasure in Him is simply being still and contemplating about who He is or meditating in a passage of Scripture. The wonderful thing is being able to achieve that in the process of doing routine tasks or just sitting quietly in complete silence. No matter where I am or how chaotic it might be around me, I can always find a way to focus on God. Nothing I can do gives me more satisfaction, peace and joy than simply knowing that He desires to have fellowship with me. In the process of my communion with Him I find myself having desires that are always consistent with what I am instructed to do in Scripture. I pray for a greater contentment in the Lord so that I am more faithful in keeping my attention on Him and His kingdom.
