"We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."
Isaiah 53:6
"I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
Psalm 18:1-2

When I was living my way, seeking pleasure that satisfied my sinful nature, I was like a small boat adrift in the ocean. God rescued me and planted my feet on a solid rock. I found a peace and joy that I never knew before. He has become a refuge for me where I can live securely and free from the deceitfulness of wealth, moral impurity and the cares of this world. In Him I have everything I need because He has provided it through the glorious riches of Jesus Christ. He knows my coming and going every moment of the day and there is never an instant when He is not with me as a source of strength and hope. I am grateful for His mercy and love that follow me all the days of my life. I pray that He will keep searching my heart and expose those areas where I am still living my way instead of His.
