"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."
Psalm 139:23-24
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will."
Romans 12:1-2
There is one prayer I know God is always faithful to answer. All I have to do is invite Him to search my heart and reveal the impure thoughts and ideas I have. He always quickly identifies some part of my life that He wants me to surrender.
Thankfully, He always seem to work on a single item at a time so that I don’t get overwhelmed. Many times it is an area I’ve worked on before but each time He goes a little deeper, peeling off one layer at a time.
I am so grateful that God is graceful and merciful in the way that He does it. I don’t have to be perfect to maintain my fellowship with Him because He always accepts me just as I am. Because of that, I know that is how He wants me to act toward other people.
I thank the Lord for always being faithful to continually transform my thoughts so that I can know Him progressively more intimately.
