“The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.”
Psalm 27:1-2
“In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise— in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? I am under vows to You, O God; I will present my thank offerings to You. For You have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.”
Psalm 56:10-13

Nothing is more important than abiding in fellowship with the Lord. Living in His presence, consciously aware of Him and His Kingdom, gives me all of the light and understanding I need to work through any and all adversity that comes my way. God always has the perfect solution to every problem and I can unconditionally trust Him to make every situation work in harmony with His will to accomplish His purpose. When I find myself worrying, doubting or fearful it is because I have strayed from communion with Him. By simply surrendering to my Heavenly Father I am free from bitterness, resentment, anger, frustration, ambition and every form of discontentment. My future is in His hands and I know He will guide me, one step at a time, to walk with Him up the mountains and through the valleys that are ahead of me.
