We have so many opportunities to share and reflect Jesus to the world around us. And although it’s wonderful being a part of and connected to the body of Christ, if we’re not careful, we can insulate ourselves with these relationships, limiting our chances of engaging with not yet believers. A few years ago, I took an art class that I’d been wanting to try. What I didn’t anticipate was likely being the only Christian in the class. I enjoyed engaging with these women and have continued in relationship with a few of them today. While they have not yet made a decision to follow Jesus, I pray for them and am hopeful that one day, they will say yes.
Father – we ask that You would stir us to look for opportunities to engage with those who are in need of You. It may be coffee with a neighbor, a rousing game of pickleball, or inviting someone to a backyard barbeque. You designed each of us so uniquely and with intention to be the light of Jesus to all. May everything we do bring glory to You.
