I am very grateful that nothing can separate me from God’s love. His love for me flows continually in spite of the many things I have tolerated to distract me from my awareness of it.
If and when I am sidetracked with disruptive thoughts, all I have to do is redirect my attention to Him and the peace and joy that accompanies His love returns to me in great abundance.
It is never God’s love leaving me; it is my ego’s illusion that there is something more important that I should be pursuing which occupies my thoughts and creates the drama that robs me of the enjoyment He wants me to continually experience.
I pray for a greater hunger and thirst for His righteousness so that I can abide more steadfastly in my awareness of His awesome love.
