“You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.”
Psalm 139:2-3

As we wrap up the week, I’m reminded of how much of Joseph’s story was unseen by others, including his brothers. You may feel similarly in your current circumstances, but what Joseph’s story shows us is the way God saw Joseph in every moment of hardship. Every step, betrayal, persecution, and overlooked moment in Joseph’s life was seen by God. The same is true for us; God is intimately familiar and involved with the details of our lives. He doesn’t forget, look away from us, or get weary with our hardships.

No matter what we’re walking through, we can be at peace knowing that God sees us, walks with us, and will not let anything we go through be wasted.

God, help us choose to trust You in every season. Remind us that You see us, know us intimately, and make all things work for our good and Your glory. Help us surrender anything that’s holding us back from living this out within our current circumstances.
