Just as God redeemed Joseph’s circumstances to send him ahead and later provide for not only his family but also their families, Jesus is the ultimate provision for all of us who are now saved because of Him. Jesus came for more than our comfort or earthly blessings. He came to make it possible for us to conform to His image and learn that as we do so, God redeems our lives. It’s so encouraging that as we follow Jesus and aim to become more like Him, God continues to work out the details of our lives for our good.
Because of His faithfulness, God won’t allow anything to be wasted. He’ll show us more of His redemption plans as we conform to His image and can understand our circumstances from a heavenly perspective.
What an act of faith to begin with this morning: believing that what these verses say is true. No matter the circumstances that are blessing or wearing on your Thanksgiving week, God is already in the process of working things out for your good. Even when asking God to help us in our unbelief, He receives us just as we are and mercifully uses our best and worst days. Thank You, God! We trust You.
