"Jesus looked at him and said, 'How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.' Those who heard this asked, 'Who then can be saved?' Jesus replied, 'What is impossible with man is possible with God.'"
Luke 18:24-27
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
Hebrews 11:6

Only by trusting and abiding in the Lord am I be able to observe how He is at work in and around me. When I recognize that I am worrying, fearful or irritated about things that are happening, they are symptoms that my vision of Him and His kingdom has become blurred. My anxiety and frustrations are simple reminders to me that my ego has taken over and wants me to experience some form of drama. It is in those situations that God is wanting to do a work in me that will bear fruit. By focusing on His presence, I immediately experience His peace and joy. That always gives me the strength, courage and wisdom I need to persevere and see the power of the Holy Spirit working in my life. I pray that the Lord will help me stay attentive to Him and continually seek the reality of His Kingdom.
