Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
“Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.”
2 Thessalonians 3:16

Everything God equipped me with when I was born into this world are amazing tools for me to use as I experience life in the physical realm. They are the complex instruments I need to exist in this environment. My brain, my physical senses, all of the systems within my body that enable me to breathe, digest food, fight disease and all of the other wonderful systems are not who I am. They are tools. When I love God with all of my heart, soul, strength and mind, I am taking everything He has equipped me with and surrendering them to Him. My primary responsibility is to respond to every situation that occurs within and without in absolute, total abandonment as an expression of my love for the Lord. If I am supposed to say something, I believe He will give me the words to speak; otherwise I will remain silent. If He wants me to do some activity He will give me the desire to do it; otherwise I will remain still. In the tranquility of each moment, I will meditate in His word and presence, savoring the peace that transcends all understanding.
