"So do not worry, saying 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Matthew 6:31-34

After spending this week devoted to scripture about our finances and our relationship with them, we should be feeling a renewed sense of freedom and joy…along with maybe fresh vision from God in how He specifically wants to speak to each of us about our current state. He blesses us so that we, in turn, can bless others.

Jesus sums up this passage with basically a “Stop it! Stop the worrying! Focus on the kingdom first, and God will take care of the rest!”

So…what are we going to do about it? Is there any provision you’ve been stressing over? Is there anything you are chasing after that you need to lay down? Let’s give these to Him now…

And Father, we ask for a fresh infilling of your Spirit to guide us going forward. We know that you have specific Kingdom assignments that you have blessed us to participate in. We are watching and waiting…lead the way, Lord.
