"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
Matthew 7:7-8
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
James 1:2-5

When I am facing a difficult situation, I only have two choices; take care of it or accept it. As I observe the dilemma, in fellowship with the Lord, I can separate myself from it and make that choice. When there is nothing I can do about it, I am tempted to complain, criticize or blame someone else and then it becomes a diversion. If I do any of those things, my awareness of God’s presence is sidetracked. Next, I begin to lose the energy I need which I only get when I am in communion with Him. By accepting the problem and maintaining an attitude of gratefulness to the Lord, I can witness His power at work in my life. I thank God for His grace that is always sufficient for me to continually live in fellowship with Him.
