If I’m being transparent, it is both intimidating and comforting at what depth I am known. God sees and knows all that I am, have done, and will do. All of it; the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. Yet His love for me doesn’t waiver. God sees my sin and shame, yet He calls me by my name. This is because of the covering of the blood shed by Jesus. Even in our faults and shortcomings, Jesus has set us aside for good and impactful things if we are in relationship with Him.
The enemy, however, knows our name but will call us by our sin and shame. Thank you, Jesus, that you do not see us in that light! May we be challenged to live out what Jesus has set out for us as we walk in freedom provided by His endless grace and absolute truth.
