Knowing that the Lord is with me has become one of the most critically important realities in my walk with Him. The conscious awareness and assurance of His presence make every circumstance and life situation an adventure. With this understanding as the foundation for my limited human perspective, I can be confident that I am surrounded by infinite wisdom, knowledge, and love that knows His eternal purpose for every event that happens to me.
For many years I weighed the pros and cons of the potential outcomes in order to make a decision regarding the action I needed to take. All of my speculation about the possible conclusions was distracting me from my primary objective, which is practicing the presence of God. Now, I don’t have to concern myself with understanding any of the complex issues. Instead, I can make every experience an occasion to commune and fellowship with the Creator of the universe.
