This verse is what comes to mind when I think about going through life’s storms. God tells us there will be hardships and trials in this life, but He also tells us He’s with us every step of the way. We experienced this last fall with a miscarriage. Something that was one of my greatest fears, God used for His glory and to show us His goodness in a mighty way. The peace He gave us during that time was something only He could have done. The way we were held by friends with prayer and meals was something that touched me in a way I’ll never forget.
He showed me that even when I go through a really hard storm, I’m never alone or forsaken. He’s there every step of the way to strengthen and help me. The way He can use those storms in life for good when we trust Him fully is simply…incredible.
As I write this our family is expecting another baby…a girl. Our daughter has prayed for a baby sister nightly for about two years and to see God answer her prayer brings me so much joy. He is good and can be trusted always. Even when it feels hard.
