When I worry, fear or become irritated about things that are happening to or around me, they are symptoms that my vision of God and His kingdom has become blurred. The things that He wants me to do are impossible for me to accomplish in my own strength. Only by trusting and abiding in Him am I able to observe how He is at work around me. Usually when I am anxious and frustrated, I discover that He is wanting to do a work in me that will bear a form of the fruit of His Spirit. By simply trusting Him and focusing on His presence I experience His peace and joy. That always gives me the strength and wisdom I need to persevere and observe the power of Your Spirit working in my life.
"Jesus looked at him and said, 'How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.' Those who heard this asked, 'Who then can be saved?'
