"We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored! To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless. We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it; when we are slandered, we answer kindly. We have become the scum of the earth, the garbage of the world—right up to this moment."
1 Corinthians 4:10

The simplicity of life in God’s kingdom is a great blessing.

I used to get caught up in many different projects and feel the pressure to make them all run smoothly. The more I could have going at one time, the more productive I believed I was being.

Now, regardless of how many different activities I am involved with, I don’t feel pressure to make any of them successful because I give them all over to the Lord. My focus now is to walk with Him, moment by moment, and simply enjoy His fellowship along with those He brings into my life.

Failure and success are no longer relevant to me; being with Him, my family and friends is. I can look back at failed endeavors and observe how God used them to strengthen me and others.

I pray for a greater understanding of Him and His kingdom because the more I comprehend, I perceive how simple my life is.
