The word of God gives life. It is like the rain that waters the earth so that it flourishes and provides us with food to eat. I love the parallels in this scripture. Just like the water nourishes the earth, the Word of God nourishes our souls. The Word will never fail. It will always accomplish what God desires.
God, remind me how strong your Word is. Remind me that it will accomplish what you desire it to do. When the storms of life come, remind me that you are in control, and you will work all things out for my good and for your glory. Help my faith and trust in you to grow daily.
