Doing good to others involves sacrifice. It gets at the heart of what JD shared about selflessness. Are our lives about us alone, or are we living for God and the ways that He teaches us how to live? Actually applying that to our lives involves intentionality and vision and receiving it all from God first.
What has God given you that you can share with others? You may not be able to give in the way that you wish you could, but I know that God daily gives each of us resources, time, gifts, wisdom, relationships, and opportunities to give to others.
Lord, help us see how we can do good to others today. Help us not look past opportunities to be Your servants. As we give to others, remind us that we are just giving back to You what You have already given us. Thank You for Your Word that guides us in every facet of our lives. We love and honor You and pray this in Jesus’ name.
