Community amongst Christ followers is vital to our spiritual and emotional health. Some of the best experiences I have had has been in community with others pursuing Jesus. Life is truly better together! The Bible is clear that God finds delight in His bride, the church. So for me, it makes sense that the Psalmist finds their whole delight among the saints. My prayer is that we get to have that same experience.
As we gather together, I hope that we can experience the delight of chasing after Jesus, encouraging and spurring one another on toward a gospel-centered life. May we be full of joy and not sorrow as we pursue the riches of God, not other idols that this world has to offer.
