One of the things that amazes me about God and His Kingdom is the way He continually exceed my expectations. No matter what my situation is, it always has a possible perspective from which I can choose to view it. When I look at the things that are happening from an earthly standpoint, I can find reasons to grumble, complain and resist what is happening. However, when I observe the events from His Kingdom perspective, I find reasons to be grateful, hopeful and optimistic. By trusting Him with my life and following the example and teaching of Jesus, I am able to abide in His presence. When I cast my cares on Him and put my faith in His promises, I have patience and peace because the assurance that He is making everything work together for good has become increasingly real to me. I am so grateful that I don’t have to lean on my own understanding any more.
