She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.' Immanuel: God with us. What hope this brings!

It is so easy to forget His presence in our day to day lives. We get caught up in our schedules, tasks, responsibilities, and stressors that we often default to doing things out of our own strength. When we do this, we become tired, burnt out, anxious, overwhelmed, and maybe even hopeless. If not addressed, we can also see this lead to bitterness, apathy, or disobedience.

What if, instead of relying on our own strength, we choose to remember the simple yet miraculous fact that God is with us? What if we chose to daily reflect on His promises and the hope that we have in Him? He gives us strength, rest, purpose, and direction. He allows us to view things from an eternal perspective rather than a worldly one. Even in the midst of struggle, heartache, and even the mundane, we have the hope that God sees us, knows us, and is with us in every step,
