"When the uproar had ended, Paul sent for the disciples and, after encouraging them, said goodbye and set out for Macedonia. He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people, and finally arrived in Greece, where he stayed three months. Because some Jews had plotted against him just as he was about to sail for Syria, he decided to go back through Macedonia."
Acts 20:1-3

After the uproar, Paul didn’t immediately rush forward alone, he first called the disciples together and encouraged them. We see that even in the middle of danger, opposition, and uncertainty, his priority was strengthening others. Paul models so well that faith is not only about pressing through our own trials, but about lifting the hearts of those around us. In seasons of transition or stress, God often calls us to pause and encourage others with the hope that we have in Christ.

Paul’s journey through Macedonia and Greece was marked by persistence. He was always traveling, teaching, and encouraging in the face of almost constant threats. When a plot was discovered against him, he simply adjusted his route and kept moving forward. Following Christ doesn’t always mean an easy or predictable path, but it does mean steady obedience. When difficulties arise, as they most definitely will; we can trust God to redirect our steps rather than derail His purpose in our lives.
