“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.”
Isaiah 26:3-4
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”
2 Corinthians 5:18-21

There is no better way for me to live my life than to follow Jesus’ example in the way He loved His Father and all people, no matter what their history was. I have been overcoming fears and prejudices all of my life in order to be His disciple. My view of the world, when seen through my understanding of who Jesus was, His teachings and His resurrection gives me tremendous confidence that I can trust God with every part of my life. That is what Jesus did by demonstrating love, mercy and grace towards everyone in all circumstances of His life. He came to reveal, in a perfect way, how His Father views the world. Through Him, God is reconciling the world back to Himself. He has given me the ministry of reconciliation and the only way I can do that is by His grace in complete surrender and abandonment to Him, trusting Him the way that Jesus did.
