“I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5

My response to this passage is a prayer:

Father, I ask that your grace would be ever present in my mind as I work to submit to you. I know that you are able to do all things and that all things are held together in you. I ask that you keep me securely rooted in your love, comprehensively outfitted with your truth, and humbly instructed by your grace. I ask in faith that any fruit produced in my life would be a result of your spirit alive in me working to administer your love in all circumstances. Break off the dead branches that separate me from you and breathe your life into everything that my heart intends…bringing all things into obedience with your purposes. Hold me close and lead me in Your way everlasting. Amen.
